It's hard to believe National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is already 20 years old. The new holiday classic is celebrating with a 20th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition with some really cool collectibles.
The best is an exclusive moose mini mug figurine like the ones in the movie. It's available in the Blu-ray set. Both the Blu-ray and DVD tins include drink coasters with movie quotes, a Marty Moose Santa hat, instant snow power, and an impressive "I Survived a Griswold Family Christmas" button.
These ultimate sets arrive on Oct. 27. It's the perfect gift -- second only to a membership in the Jelly of the Month Club.

I watched 3 more good movies this weekend. The 'Lost City' sequel to 'Jurassic Park' is good but it not as good as the original. But that is very common with sequels.
Chevy Chase is an all around great actor and 'SNL' legend. I look forward to seeing him on NBC's 'Community' this fall. Anyway, I strongly recommend 'Fletch.'
Stephen King's 'Desperation' was the best of the 3. "...and the child will lead them..." comes to mind here. No one weaves a yarn like the master of macabre huh?
In addition to 'Vacation,' I have more Happy Birthday Wishes to deliver. Karen turns 43 on Friday July 17th. She shares this special day with James Cagney (1899), Phyllis Diller (1917), Donald Sutherland (1934) and David Hasselhoff (1952). My cousin Libby turns 37 on Sunday July 19th. She share this special day with Pat Hingle (1924) and Anthony Edwards (1962).
Best wishes to all of you!
